She snapshotted all their video chats but those are not real photos of them physically together. Do you think it would be better if they got married online right now and started the process to get her over here, or just wait and get a fiance visa and go that route? I'm afraid immigration won't settle for them just having proof of their video chats and messaging for the last 4 years. We think this woman just wants to hurry and get married because she thinks he's slacking and having second thoughts, because things have been so slow with me helping him get all the paperwork done through a Visa coach. I don't want my dad to get screwed over and do something he won't be able to get out of. And that getting a fiance visa is much easier. I've done a lot of reading online and it says that it's a bad idea. So they think getting married online through courtly is going to make things easier to get her over here. With cost of apostille, international shipping, witnesses, name change kit, and base cost we spent about 650 dollars which is a huge discount compared to the 4k we were going to spend to get married somewhere like Seychelles. But I cross checked the Utah records and yep. You can even get a discount for taking a marriage course first but after months of stress trying to figure out how to get married we just paid Courtly a nice chunk of chain and got it over with.įrom the time we submitted payment we were married within three days officially. It's totally possible to plan and execute this all on your own. I also needed police interviews and virginity checks and didn't feel comfortable with all that.
